Program Description
This program is meant to acquaint learners with the field of project management. Learners who complete the program should be able to:
- a) Explain the meaning of project management and typical roles of people involved in a project.
b) Identify typical activities in the project life cycle.
c) Define a project, and its communication, stakeholder management and procurement plans.
d) Create a project schedule.
e) Articulate the difference between traditional and Agile Project management.
f) Apply principles of procurement, and risk management.
Module 2: Project Scheduling with Microsoft Project and Libre Project
This module addresses how to create a traditional project schedule in Microsoft Project and free project management software called Libre Project. The module addresses the work breakdown structure, the project network, project schedule, resource allocation, baselines, and budgets.
