Program Description
This program is meant to acquaint learners with the field of project management. Learners who complete the program should be able to:
- a) Explain the meaning of project management and typical roles of people involved in a project.
b) Identify typical activities in the project life cycle.
c) Define a project, and its communication, stakeholder management and procurement plans.
d) Create a project schedule.
e) Articulate the difference between traditional and Agile Project management.
f) Apply principles of procurement, and risk management.
Module 4: Agile Project Management
This course focuses on a newer, and increasingly popular approach to project management called Agile/Scrum. Students will learn the difference between traditional and Agile/Scrum project projects. Participants in this module will also learn how to develop the scope of a project, how to plan project work, as well as how to monitor and control project performance.
